Theological Enrichment
Access a growing library of free, on-demand video lessons designed to make theological education accessible, liberating, and transformative. SDU’s teachings emerge from rigorous academic study and Theopraxis, offering thoughtful and relevant insights for spiritual, intellectual, and communal growth. Each lesson is grounded in a theological framework that bridges classroom-level scholarship with real-world application.
We invite learners to pursue the critical and comparative study of theology and religion through an interdisciplinary lens that integrates insights from biblical studies, history, ethics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, education, and ministry practice. Centering marginalized voices and reclaiming suppressed African, African American, and diasporic histories, this curriculum affirms cultural identity, develops critical consciousness, and supports the ongoing work of spiritual and communal liberation.

S.T.R.E.E.T. Ciphers
S.T.R.E.E.T. Ciphers are where theology breaks out of the sanctuary and enters the cipher of higher-level conversation. This is where we explore the bold, difficult, and transformative questions of faith that traditional church spaces often overlook. We dig deep through scripture, lived experience, and scholarship to wrestle with justice, spirituality, identity, and the sacred. No shallow debates. No spiritual ego. Just real talk, higher-level thought, and holy curiosity. S.T.R.E.E.T. Ciphers include:
